Praise on the lawn merch

Praise on the Lawn is an outdoor worship event hosted by Clearwater Church. The goal was to create branded merchandise that not only promoted the event but also gave attendees meaningful, stylish items they’d actually want to wear beyond the event.

Challenges Identified

  • Merchandise needed to balance bold event branding with wearable everyday style.

  • The designs had to communicate both the event name and the heart of worship in a visually appealing way.

  • Items needed to feel unified as part of a larger event identity (not random one-offs).

Design Approach

  • Typography as Impact – Large, bold text treatments make the theme of praise clear and eye-catching.

  • Scriptural Inspiration – Elements like Psalm 150:6 were integrated into the designs to root the merch in worship.

  • Modern Streetwear Influence – Clean layouts, oversized graphics, and neutral colors give the designs a contemporary look that resonates with both younger and older audiences.

  • Consistency Across Items – Hats and tees share fonts, colors, and tone, reinforcing a cohesive event identity.

Deliverables

  • Hats – Trucker-style caps with “On Earth as in Heaven,” “Kingdom Champion,” and “Praise on the Lawn” variations.

  • T-Shirts – Two unique designs: one featuring bold typography + tree imagery from the event grounds, and one anchored in Psalm 150:6 with a clean neutral palette.

  • Tote Bags – Expanded event presence with phrases like Heaven Chaser, On Earth as in Heaven, and Praise the Lord.

The Impact

The merchandise created excitement leading up to the event and gave attendees tangible takeaways that reinforced community, worship, and brand identity. Designed to feel like everyday wear, the merch extended the event’s reach beyond the lawn, sparking conversations and connection.
